If you choose to trade-in or return your current leased vehicle, then follow these steps to ensure a smooth Hyundai lease return. It is important to start this process at least 60 days prior to your lease turn-in date.

90-60 Days to Lease End

1. Make sure that your current mileage is within allowed limits³.
2. Schedule and complete a complimentary inspection with us by calling 912-999-4977.

45 Days to Lease End

1. View your inspection report and note any excess wear or mileage.
2. If applicable, decide if you want to make any cost-saving repairs.
3. If trading-in, browse our current inventory for a replacement.

2 Weeks to Lease End

1. Schedule an appointment with us for the lease return.
2. Clean the vehicle inside/out and remove all personal items.
3. Return your vehicle and complete a Federal odometer statement at our dealership.
4. Cancel any existing automatic payments online or over the phone.
5. Pay off any existing debts, liability charges, or fees for excess wear, mileage, etc.^{2 3}

¹A loyalty reward covers your disposition (turn-in) fee, up to $400, and any excess wear and use charges up to $500, when you lease or finance a new Hyundai through Hyundai Motor Finance within 60 days of terminating your lease.

²A disposition (turn-in) fee, specified in the lease contract, payable at lease-end if the lessee does not purchase the vehicle.

³At lease end, you will be responsible for excess mileage charges of $.20 per mile over the mileage option you've chosen.
